2. Data We Collect
Newsletter subscription: email address.
Website analytics: page views, session data, event interactions, approximate location (country/city level). We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization enabled.
Appointment scheduling: name, email address and scheduling preferences, processed by Calendly Inc. when you book a call.
Cookies: we use session cookies necessary for the website to function and analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site
3. How We Use Your Data
To understand how visitors use the website and improve it accordingly (analytics).
To schedule and confirm appointments booked via our Calendly link.We do not sell your data to third parties.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Legal Basis
Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): newsletter subscription, non-essential cookies.
5. Data Retention
Newsletter subscriptions: retained until you unsubscribe.
Analytics data: 26 months (Google Analytics default setting).
Appointment data: managed by Calendly according to their privacy policy
6. Third-Party Services
Framework. IP addresses are anonymized before processing. You can opt out at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Calendly Inc. (USA): appointment scheduling. When you book a call, your data is processed by Calendly under their own privacy policy.
Nine AG (Zurich, Switzerland): our hosting infrastructure. All website data is stored on servers in Switzerland. Nine AG is ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certified.
Webflow Inc. (USA): our website is built and hosted on Webflow. Webflow processes data under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
7. Your Rights
Right of access: you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Right to rectification: you can ask us to correct inaccurate data.
Right to erasure: you can ask us to delete your data where there is no longer a legitimate reason to retain it.
Right to data portability: you can request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Right to withdraw consent: where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
Right to lodge a complaint: you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) at www.edoeb.admin.ch.

8. Cookies
Session cookies: necessary for the website to function correctly. These are deleted when you close your browser.
Analytics cookies: placed by Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors use the site. These remain for up to 26 months.
You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use the website.

Contact form
When you contact us through the website, we collect your name, email address, and, where provided, your phone number,company, and message. We use this information to respond to your inquiry.
Appointment booking.
When you book a call through our Calendly link, your name, email address, and appointment details are processed to schedule and manage the appointment. Calendly Inc. processes this data on our behalf.
CFO Survey
If you register for and participate in the CFO Survey, we collect your name, job title, company, email address, and survey responses. We use this information to send you the survey,manage your participation, share aggregated survey results, and invite you to related events.
Participation is based on your consent given at registration. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting simon.umbricht@lowgile.com.Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing that took place before the withdrawal. Survey results shared extensively are presented in aggregated form and do not identify individual participants unless you have explicitly agreed otherwise.
Website analytics.
We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization to understand how visitors use our website and to improve its performance and content. Analytical cookies are only set if you consent to them.
3. Legal basis
We process personal data on the following legal bases:
- Consent for CFO Survey registration and participation, and for analytics cookies.
- Legitimate interests for responding to inquiries, managing business communications, and operating and securing the website.
- Pre-contractual steps,including contacting us or booking an appointment to discuss Lowgile services.

When you first visit our website, you can choose which cookie categories to allow. Necessary cookies, which are required for the website to function, are always active. Analytics cookies are only setif you accept them.

5. Service providers
We use selected service providers to operate the website and provide related services, including
- Google LLC for websiteanalytics.
- Calendly Inc. for appointment scheduling.
- Webflow Inc. for website hosting and operation.
These providers may process personal data outside Switzerland, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards or recognized transfer mechanisms, such as certification under the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework, where applicable, standard contractual clauses, or other legally recognized safeguards. We do not sell your personal data.
6. Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
- Contact form data: 12 months from the date of inquiry.
- CFO Survey data: 24 monthsafter the survey closes.
- Analytics data: 26 months.
- Appointment data: Retained by Calendly according to its own retention policy.
Where legal obligations require longer retention, we may retain the relevant data for the required period.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction,deletion, or portability of your personal data. You may also ask us to restrict processing or object to processing where applicable.
